NICE PRICE
Nice winner yesterday and a nice price too, my tennis selection didnt play yesterday so keep an eye on that one today.
Ok onto today, just two selections, the first is a horse who's absolutely flying, today it goes for its hatrick.
WINCHESTER RED (11/10) 14.40 Uttoxeter
The second selection is a horse who deserves to go one better today after its last run:
ALMUKTAHEM (15/8) 14.20 Lingfield

FRUSTRATION!!
What a bad day at the office!! Ayr called off due unsafe conditions so two non-runners, Rochus goes a set up and loses in that manner and Starstruck Peter well no comment.
A quiet day all round to be fair, i have two selections one in the tennis and one at Southwell tonight.
Cant believe the bookies have this as an even contest, Youzhny holds a 4-0 head to head record and can not be missed.
M YOUZHNY (EVENS) vs P H Mathieu
I backed this horse last time and the way it won suggested to me it would go in again:
MAHIKI (11/4) 19.10 Southwell

ESSEX ESSEX ESSEX
My favourite type of cricket, summers evening, and a nice pint of lager. I always back Essex at home and wont be changing tonight.
ESSEX (EVENS) vs Sussex
I fancy one in the tennis today too, the ATP moves to Sweden and i fancy Rochus to come through, especially at the price.
C ROCHUS (13/10) vs T Gabashvilli
Ok onto the racing, i really fancy these three: i backed this horse last time out and i fully expect it to complete the hatrick.
STARSTRUCK PETER (3/1) 20.20 Wolverhampton
A drop in class is always a good thing, factor in a drop in weights and everything points to this one
JOHN KEATS (3/1) 15.30 Ayr
Final selection is an in form horse who gets a confident nod:
TIGER REIGNS (6/4) 16.30 Ayr

BUSY BUSY
About levels yesterday, busy day so just the two for today, Saints in Rugby Lge and the Sharks in the Currie Cup in South Africa
ST HELENS AND SHARKS (7/2) Double
ST HELENS AND SHARKS (7/2) Double
LOVELY JUBBLY
Great day yesterday well apart form the cricket!! Looks like a draw beckons.
Onto today a busy busy one, tennis and racing dominate my selections all at juicy prices so her goes:
Starting with the tennis, its Davis Cup time again. This is one of my favourites forms of the game especially if you fancy one of the home players. Croatia host the USA today and i cant get away from Ivo Karlovic, hes not to everyone's cup of tea and yes he's limited. But how do you break him and James Blake isnt that patient.
IVO KARLOVIC (EVENS) vs James Blake
The second Davis Cup selection is the Israel-Russia clash, i fancy a upset here with an in form Sela taking on the frustrating but talented Mickael Youzhny.
D SELA (11/10) vs M Youzhny
Now onto the Womens tennis events, i have selected one in each event, the WTA BASTAD and WTA BUDAPEST, both games are evenly matched but i have fancy my two.
MARTINEZ-SANCHEZ (EVENS) vs G Dulko
S PEER (EVENS) vs A Bondarenko
Ok onto the racing which has been going well this week, lets keep it going:
First selection is one of Mr O'Briens who won this race last year
EMPEROR CLAUDIUS (13/8) 2.00 Newmarket
If this horse reapeats last times performance then everyone else is racing for a place he cruised home last time and has a great speed out of the gates.
SCENIC BLAST (9/5) 3.10 Newmarket
My favourite two trainers make up the last two selections, both won well last time and i think they will go close again today.
ALANBROOKE (7/4) Ascot
KAMMAAN (11/5) 18.40 Chester
Hope you enjoy the day im off to Chester tonight.

AH...THATS BETTER
Two nice winners yesterday and a smile returns to my face again, add The Ashes to that and im looking forward to today.
Again the sport is of a poor quality, again i have dipped into the horses for my selections.
The first selection is a horse of A Kings who seeks his hat-rick tonight, he won well at Newmarket last time out and should go close tonight.
NORMAN THE GREAT (7/2) 19.25 Epsom Downs
The next horse is a maiden but comes into the race following to second place finishes. I expect Henry Cecil's charge to make his experience count and go in third time lucky.
TOMINTOUL SINGER (6/5) 14.10 Folkestone
